Water Merchant Scenario in Probably Stolen
Water Merchant is the Probably Stolen start built on water: you test, purify and relabel it, or skip those steps and carry the liability. The developer sells it with the line that pure water is worth more than gold on the station.

Water Merchant in 1.0
Players argued on launch day that the 1.0 water start was much weaker than in the demo. Hotfix 1.0.0.2 answered by halving the Moisture Farm and Water Filter prices and reworking the Water Purifier. The numbers are in Probably Stolen patch notes, and the full loop is in the Probably Stolen water guide.
A launch-day Steam Community guide suggests a simple loop: a purification pill in one container, unfiltered water poured through a filtered pitcher into another, and a new label if needed. It also warns against selling your starting jug or buying big batches of untested water.
Who should pick Water Merchant
Players who like a clear production loop and careful labeling. If the station dumps radioactive waste on you, deal with it before it piles up.
