Apprentice Scenario in Probably Stolen
Apprentice is the generalist start in Probably Stolen and the developer's own pick for new players: you open a basic shop and upgrade as you go, learning each product line at your own pace.

Playing the Apprentice start
Because the Apprentice is not tied to one trade, it is the gentlest way to learn the shop loop: buying, appraising and pricing, and paying rent. A press preview that started here found the first weeks lean before helpers and display tactics began to pay off, so expect a slow start.
As you add weapons, chemicals, water or contraband, you also take on their trouble. Read Probably Stolen contraband before stocking anything Security cares about.
Who should pick Apprentice
Anyone on a first run. Once you know the loop, try a specialist start such as the Water Merchant scenario or the Gunsmith scenario.
